Read the directions supplied with your specific adhesive and test the complete material combination on a hidden area or spare sample.
Inventory the kit before opening the glue
Lay out the storage case, rhinestone compartments, pickup pen, tweezers and each glue tube. Count or visually check the main groups against the package description, and photograph the contents before starting. If a colour or tool is missing, resolve that through the Amazon order before planning a large design.
Sort by size before colour
Mixed-size stones are easier to use when the trays have a clear system. Put the smallest stones together, then medium and larger stones, and label colours only after the size groups are stable. Keep a small empty tray for rejects, damaged pieces and stones that need a second look.
Prepare a clean placement station
Use a level mat with good light and enough room to leave the project undisturbed. Keep a scrap card for testing glue, a lint-free cloth for the tool and a protected board beneath fabric or flexible objects. Read the adhesive label before opening a tube.
Start with a small sample
Choose a hidden or spare area and place a few stones with the same material combination you plan to use. Check alignment, spread and the label-directed cure before moving to the finished object. A short test saves a large kit from being committed to an unsuitable surface.
