B-7000 PROJECT GUIDE 21

10 Common B-7000 Glue Mistakes to Avoid

Avoid rushed layouts, excess adhesive, blocked nozzles and premature handling on craft projects.

Before you begin

Read the directions supplied with your specific adhesive and test the complete material combination on a hidden area or spare sample.

Mistakes before gluing

Skipping a material test, starting without enough stones and ignoring flex zones create problems that technique cannot fix later. Count supplies, photograph a dry layout and read the tube before opening it.

Mistakes during placement

Flooding the surface, working too large an area, dragging the nozzle through wet adhesive and pressing stones until glue spills over make the design harder to control. Use a repeatable small-section rhythm.

Mistakes during curing

Moving, wearing, washing or packing the project because the exposed edge feels dry can interrupt the bond. Plan a protected resting place and follow the full cure direction for the product in hand.

Mistakes after the project

Leaving residue around the cap, storing the tube in unsuitable conditions and forgetting the item’s new care limits reduce future reliability. Close and store the product as directed and keep a note of the decorated object’s care rules.

Quick checklist

  • Test before the final item
  • Use controlled adhesive dots
  • Respect the full cure
  • Clean and recap promptly
