B-7000 PROJECT GUIDE 04

How to Use B-7000 Glue for Rhinestones

A step-by-step method for planning, placing and curing flatback rhinestones with B-7000 craft glue.

Before you begin

Read the directions supplied with your specific adhesive and test the complete material combination on a hidden area or spare sample.

Start with a dry layout

Sort rhinestones by size and colour, then arrange a small section without glue. A quick phone photo gives you a spacing reference once you begin. Work from a clear centre line or another visual anchor so the design does not slowly drift.

Prepare the surface and tools

Check that the surface is clean, stable and compatible with the directions on your tube. Keep a placement tool, lint-free cloth and scrap card nearby. Test a hidden area first, especially on painted, coated or flexible objects.

Apply in manageable sections

Use the precision tip to place only the amount needed for the next few stones. Set each rhinestone into the adhesive and make small alignment changes while the product directions allow. Avoid covering the entire design with glue at once.

Protect the curing project

Leave the finished item flat and undisturbed. A stone staying in place does not mean the bond is fully cured, so follow the curing time printed on your specific tube before wearing, washing or moving the object.

Quick checklist

  • Photograph the dry layout
  • Test the materials first
  • Work a few stones at a time
  • Follow the tube curing directions
