B-7000 PROJECT GUIDE 23

B-7000 vs T-7000 Glue: What Should You Compare?

Use colour, visibility, materials and manufacturer directions to choose between B-7000 and T-7000 products.

Before you begin

Read the directions supplied with your specific adhesive and test the complete material combination on a hidden area or spare sample.

Start with appearance

B-7000 products are commonly selected when a clear-looking adhesive line is preferred, while T-7000 products are often sold in a dark formulation. Confirm the actual cured appearance on the package and a sample because product lines can vary.

Match the visible edge

A dark adhesive may suit black components but remain obvious beside pale rhinestones. A clear-looking option may be less noticeable on glass or mixed colours, although neat application still matters.

Do not infer every property from colour

Viscosity, open time, cure and material compatibility must come from the exact manufacturer information. Similar package names do not guarantee identical performance across sellers.

Choose through a project test

Make two small samples using the real materials. Follow each label independently, then compare visibility, placement control and the finished feel after the stated cure. Select the result that meets the project’s actual needs.
