B-7000 PROJECT NOTES

B-7000 drying and curing: what to check

Understand why a surface that feels dry is not the same as a fully cured bond.

Drying, setting and curing describe different stages. Do not use them interchangeably when deciding whether your project is ready to handle or use.

Initial hold

A stone may stay in position before the bond has reached its final strength. Avoid testing it repeatedly by pulling or twisting.

Surface dryness

The exposed surface can feel dry while adhesive beneath a decoration is still changing. A touch test alone cannot tell you that the entire bond is ready.

Full cure

Follow the curing instructions on your specific product. Materials, adhesive thickness and working conditions can affect the process. Do not substitute a time found for a different glue.

How long should you wait?

Check the label on your B-7000 tube or its supplied instructions for a verified time. This guide does not set a universal B-7000 drying or curing time. If the directions are unclear, contact the seller through your Amazon order before proceeding.
